Tables of Content Restaurant

Family-style dinner is served in the oceanfront dining room at Tables of Content. You join other guests at tables of 6 or 8. We also have seating available for tables of 2 to 4. Be sure to book a smaller table early on, as we have limited availability. Dinner takes about 2+ hours, depending on the conversation.  It is not suitable for very young children (infants and toddlers especially).

Dining with Jaimee Garbacik October 13 or 16

The Sylvia Beach Hotel presents two special dinners with writer-in-residence Jaimee Garbacik, an author and editor who’s working on a novel during her 10-day stay there. “Dinner with Jaimee” at 7 p.m. Friday (tonight) or at 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 16 takes place right here at the Tables of Content restaurant, 267 NW Cliff St. in Newport. Expect casual chat during the house-made four-course dinner. Seating is limited, so book your $28-per-person reservations by calling 541-265-5428.

Garbacik is a developmental book editor with an agency background and a decade of experience helping authors turn early manuscript drafts into award-winning books. Over a ten-year career in publishing, she’s been privileged to edit for New York Times bestselling authors, Caldecott Honor and Emmy Award recipients, and some of the world’s foremost scientists. Before freelancing, she handled editorial development for a major New York literary agency, serving more than 200 clients worldwide. WINTER HOURS:  Sunday through Thursday dinner is served at 6 pm with reservations no later than 4 pm. Friday and Saturday we serve at 7 PM with reservations taken no later than 5 PM.  We will ask you to pick your entree when you make your reservation. We do recommend that you book when you make your reservations, as seating is limited.

HOLIDAYS & SUMMER HOURS:  Dinner is served at 7 pm every evening .

Fixed-price menu varies daily – and the food is fabulous indeed! Price is $28/person which  includes appetizer through dessert with coffee or tea. Beer and wine are available; view our current wine list. Corkage is $15 per bottle. A 20% gratuity applies for groups of 5 or more guests.

Our menu is prepared fresh every day.
